Denise draws on 35 years of experience as an energy healing practioner, executive director of a non-profit organization, business owner and mental health therapist to help her clients and students to heal themselves and others and lead more joyful and productive lives.

Denise is a Complementary Energy Healing Practitioner, teacher, coach and workshop facilitator. Her background in the healing arts began in mental health and expanded into holistic healing as her passion grew. She first began working in bodywork, as a Trager Practitioner in 1991. Her treatment sessions incorporate a range of eastern, western, shamanic and leading-edge healing strategies with follow-up self-care practices for clients.

At any stage in your health or dis-ease process her treatments and practices offer a means to re-engage your body’s innate healing wisdom. By consciously attending to your body’s felt senses and multi-sensory information she guides you to open the dialogue with your body.

Treatments may include guided relaxation, sensory exploration, stillness, movement, sound, breath, intention, intuition, focusing, dreams, and other ways of supporting you. Denise also offers Reiki Training and Workshops in the Healing Arts.

Denise has spent over 20 years in the health care field as a counselor, group therapist, educator, workshop facilitator and Executive Director of the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Since 1999 she been providing the above services through Lockehaven Ventures Inc. and also assisting with the management consulting, training and contract services activities of this company that she shares with her husband. The company is located in their home in North Vancouver.
